I posted a question to help me identify my late uncle's racer and had a brilliant response, thank you. For those of you who asked to see the racer the photo below is how it came from the shed it's been stored in for the last 40 years. I haven't found the serial number yet but that will be my next task as well as trying to get it valued.

If you're going to sell it, you should probably not do anything to it. The person who buys it will want to do everything himself.

It is spectacular, all right. What that framebuilder did to avoid curving tubes...

Thanks for posting the additional pic, chlestdh! Although normally we prefer a drive side shot of the bikes, this is much hetter than your first pic of it. Despite its long sleep in storage, the bike looks to be in pretty good condition, Certainly unusual....I guess that's what's cool about it..... Certainly an "aquired taste" to fully appreciate....
Anyone wish to share what's the design logic behind the dual top tube, offset seat tube and the raised down tube???
Please keep us posted on any restoration or repair work on it...

Held my breath in your other thread but if it were mine, would leave it original. VERY carefully clean it, do the maintenance, ride and enjoy on special events.
