6208 hub

Hi
Due to a previous owners inept mechanical skills i need to swap the freehub on a 6208 uniglide hub. Can i get any
seven speed shimano and swap over the freehub and cone for sealing.

You shouud be able to use any 600/Ultegra and lower yes. Some Dura Ace mounted funny. Your doing this on a wheel right? I would look for a VGC or NOS 600/105 hub and take the whole axleset, bearings and freehub. (that's how I upgraded a 6spd uniglide to 7spd HG anyway)

Yeah on a wheel. I was thinking of a mountain bike hub and
just swapping the right cone and freehub.
It's my first time using ug and it works fine. I'm thinking
with a little experince i will know from the noise if i am high
or low on the sprocket without thinking. I may as well wear out the ug cassette
and it's a corncob so it stops me from being lazy when I'm out

I used the freehub, axle and cones from a HG20 rear hub to convert my 105 7sp UG to 7sp HG.

I would get a road bike hub if you're going to swap the freehub over. I've done a few swaps over the years and the bodies are generally cross-compatible, but there's some slight variations in the spacing from the hub surface to the big cog. You could end up with too much space between the spokes and the cog- I had the opposite once and the derailleur hit the spokes.
