I have no idea what this means, but I have several seven speed bikes.

Don't take it personally.

7 speed kinda got lost somewhere between friction 5/6 and 8 sp brifters.
I got 7 on the DeRosa so it's all good.

I did have a 13-26 7-speed freewheel on the Bianchi for awhile, but I transferred it to the Peugeot PKN-10 when I gave it to my elder son, who didn't care for my 13-23 6-speed.

My mountain bike came w/ a 7-speed 13-32 freewheel, which I subsequently regeared to 13-26.

However I currently have a 13-23, 13-26, or 14-26 6-speed on each road bike, and an 8-speed 12-28 on the Schwinn, so I guess I can't join the 7-speed club.

My wife's Giant MTB is 3x7.
I think she uses 2 cogs in the rear, and doesn't know there's a L shifter.
MTB, for her, is a golf cart path.
As long as it's paved.

Me too! Me too! Me too!
All my 80's bikes are 126mm at the back so all, except one is maxed out at 7 speeds. My Retrofrictions won't handle any more anyway!

6&7 speed freewheels , triple cranks .. 50,40,24t
though the over the bb cable guides made that one be a 52,42,26.

the Rohloff is a 7 speed , but they use them twice.. in high and low ranges.
