Any idea if this is bike-related?

I bought a box of bike parts, many of them foreign to me (BMX/MTB stuff)
In there, was a part I've never seen before. I forgot to ask him what it was.
I tried TinEye, but out of 4.9 billion images, 0 results.

Is this a bike-related part, and if so, what the heck is it?

Hmmm. Something brake related, perhaps?

Maybe you could photograph them with a quarter or a ruler for scale?

one of those chain guides you can bolt to your BB, for DH bikes? they sometimes have extra mounting points around the BB specifically for this purpose.

yup that's a chain guide designed to mount on ICGS standard tabs I think.

Makes sense, as the seller was formerly big into downhill.
The box of parts included shin guards, bar end extensions, MTB parts, etc.
I just listed the box contents on eBay (what I didn't keep for myself: 4 Mavic wheel bags and a complete bike bag)

Thanks for the expertise.
