Took my Armstrong out for a ride today, still a bit cool here, it's in the mid Seventies. But, I guess I'm just a daredevil at heart. Cool weather and all....here's my Armstrong.

Mid-seventies is "cool." Should be 60 here tomorrow and I'm looking forward to the warmth…but I'm with you, podna - time to ride!

Love the original inacted dork disk and springer saddle it is very rare that these are intaced and in good condition. Great bike I like that you left it original and that you are riding it.

Thanks, it's had a few upgrades over the years. But the bike is basically the same. For example, The B17 Flyer is an add on, I have the original Wrights Saddle put away.

He couldn't handle any more winter.

There were lots of people out this evening; many young couples were walking arm in arm, people were taking photos of the sunset like the guy "hanging" from the tree, and everyone was in a pretty cheerful mood as it has warmed up a great deal.

The park is the access point to get into the river valley by foot or by bike so it's a busy spot.

Or was it some of that 'frontier justice?' I've heard tell the Albertans are the Texans of Canada, eh?

Just to try to balance out Mike's photo with palm trees in the back ground and Sixty Fiver's photo which lacks any sign of snow (despite being in Canada), I went for my first ride this year, so springtime ride. Stopped along the way to take this photo.

It was quite balmy in the low to mid 40s F. I was glad it was this warm because I discovered I'd forgotten my cap to wear under the helmet. By the end of the 25 miles I could certainly tell I've been off the bike since November. But at least I dropped 50lbs, so it could have been significantly worse!

Mike, come north anytime and I'll show you a good time on one of my bikes.

I'm as inept in converting F to C as you must be converting C to F. Google says 42F = 5.5C.

Tomorrow spring will be here. There is lots of gritty water on the roads from melting snow, and a portion of the paved trail still covered in snow, but that should be gone tomorrow.

Nice road ride today and anxious to get out again after work. We'll have good weather for the rest of the week. Yippeeee!
