The six day tracks were often constructed and removed for single events.

Even with the geometry, I think it still would be small. Cool bike though. I also agree it is likely nickel-plated and not stainless.

If I was marketing this bike I would go through the newspaper clippings and flag race reports that go with the trophies, then show that those trophies had the same guy or at least one member of the team the same, pointing to a particular rider at least. Otherwise it is just a nice set of trophies and period clippings.

His first auction for the bike started at $5999.99 and buy it now was $7999.99. He dropped the price a little.

In my home town... could have saved on the shipping if I'd noticed this early and had been drinking. Who knows where it'll end up but it sounds like should have been in a museum or at least on display at the new velodrome they're building in Milton.
