Help identifying French tubular rim, please
I just picked up a real frankenbike of a Nishiki. Appears to be a very early Nishiki model -- no model name -- with a Brooks Pro saddle, Cinelli bars, a Schwinn Approved skip tooth freewheel, Sugino crank, and a tied/soldered tubular wheelset on Normandy hubs.
Anyway, I can't make out the manufacturer of the rim and would love your help. It appears to be DEP??EE. I've Googled variants with no luck.

the word with the missing letters is DEPOSEE which is french for registered, not a brand name. record is the model name of the rim. the manufacturer is super champion.

I wholeheartedly agree -- I love the old cycling labels of this style. This is the first I've seen these rims. The wheelset is pretty cool -- 3x and tied and soldered. First I've actually seen that, outside of a book.
