Help ID: 1982(ish?) Schwinn Le Tour
So I'm looking at a couple old Schwinn frames on CL. I would like to ID the beige-colored frame (painted by seller).
It is supposedly an early '80s Traveler. However, the serial number on the left rear dropout is SL201103, which would indicate it's a 1982 Le Tour, yes? However, the '82 Le Tour has the brake cable housing guides on the bottom of the top tube, whilst the frame I'm trying to ID has them on the top of the top tube.
Any guess as to the model and year, or suggestions about what to investigate if I check out the frame in person? Cheers.

Ugh. I meant to post this in C&V, not Appraisals. I can't seem to find a way to delete this thread; is it possible to move it?

L is November, so it's probably an '83 model year bike. Both the '83 Le Tour and the '83 Traveler had the rear brake cable braze-on guides on top of the top tube. I could be mistaken, but I think that serial number format was used on both Le Tours and Travelers. The '83 Le Tour used a 25.4 seatpost while the Traveler used 26.6, so that would be one way to tell which model it is.

Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
Thanks for the tip about the seat tubes! It seems like an easy way to help differentiate the frames.
