@otg, if you want to go big, look for the Schwinn Approved canvas bag made in the '60s and '70s (hurry it ends in 2+ hours). It works with the B66 which is a bit wider but has similar springs. It does help to have a support under it. Here it is attached to my Paramount.

If I remember, Rootboy has a vintage sewing machine and creates these by hand, very talented man.

Might as well just swing for the wall and get a Carradice for $40 more

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Carradice-Or...item418127a3c2.

Carradice Originals Nelson Longflap Bicycle Saddlebag 18 Liters | eBay.

I guess I was always happy with a single and thrilled by a double.

That's a nice one Bob, but I'm afraid it's a bit too much $ right now. Really considering this one, price is reasonable and it looks like it will work with the Flyer.

I'll bet it's water buffalo. They don't kill cows for their hides in India.

Thank you. BTW, I did buy and restore a vintage sewing machine, but not used on this. All saddle stitched by hand.

The classic Brooks saddle bag is not on the Brooks web side any longer. I bought one a few years ago. Despite all the disparaging comments made by others about its lack of quality and Chinese outsourcing, mine is terrific. I'd say look around for one of those.

I have mine mounted on a sprung Brooks saddle. They were made for this.

ETA - cobrabyte beat me to it while I was searching the Brooks site.

I have mine installed a little differently than cobrabyte. I think it came out a little "cleaner" the way I have in installed. I don't have a rear rack and don't need one, either. The bag does not sag, even when loaded with a heavy lock, cable and tools.

If these are no longer in production, we need a thread to mourn the passing of a legend.
Do you happen to have a pic? I'd like to see some other options. I've tried hanging it from the lower rail and found opening the flap to be kind of cumbersome. I didn't know they stopped making them. Shame. Glad I got one when I did.

Edit: Just looked over the Brooks site. I see they are still making a Brooks Millbrook and Glenbrook saddle bag, but they're stupid expensive now and quite different from mine. Can't say I liked any of the bags I saw, and some are downright ugly IMO. Just keep making good saddles, please, and I'll be happy lol

Used for $150 from the same seller that wants $75 for a pair of Simplex pulleys. What a deal!

I used to put my wallet in my saddle bag. One day while walking the bike on a crowded city sidewalk somebody managed to get into the bag and steal my wallet. I didn't know it until I stopped for lunch.
