whats the scoop with these bikecycles? I looked at one in the used section of a LBS, and thought the design was pretty unremarkable 90's era singletrack bike, but with full rack and fender eyelets, and an underside of the downtube bottle cage (as in, yeah, the normal position for third cage eyelets). Was this a late game touring ATB? Was it some idiosyncratic bike that I should want (if the price is right)? Or just some accident of the industry?

And who made them? Not familiar with the name "Wheeler."
