The upsweep you find with Randonneur bars might, in combination with other changes, help. Best, though, to get the correct size.

well its not pretty but it seems to work. Installed a nitto technomic 110mm stem and on the first test ride the bike was extremely comfortable and didn't handle funny. The reach is great, but the riding position seems to be very upright, which I suspect is what makes the bike feel comfortable. Also I replaced all of the cables and housing and installed some aero levers which improved braking.

I think that doesn't look bad at all; in fact, it looks about "right." And if it's comfortable to you - even better.


Just as an aside- yours is one of the few that still has the Simplex badge on the Front Derailleur. It's a little foil sticker- it apparently comes off and they're impossible to find. I was fortunate that when mine came off, it was recovered quickly and I put mine back on with shoo goo. Take care of that Simplex badge!
