First SuperCourse find.
I haven't posted in a long time but this is worthwhile.
This beautiful little '74 SuperCourse MkII found it's way into my garage a couple days ago, got it from the original owner and it appears to be 100% original right down to the narrow B-17 which survived the years in storage in amazing condition. This is also the first Nervar steel square taper crankset I've run across, neat piece. I expect this bike will clean up amazingly well, won't be staying around once it's done because it won't fit anyone in my family but it I'm really looking forward to the build. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...pswhxy0zcx.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...pstoeb1cfx.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...psahljgjv9.jpg -Steve |
I had that same bike a size or two larger when I was a teenager. I didn't appreciate it then. The green and white with chrome is awesome. Nice find.

Great find. If you ever need new chainrings, it's pretty easy to elongate the mounting holes of a road standard 130mm ring to fit your proprietary 128mm BCD spider -- been there, done that, got the Nervar and Shimano t-shirts. :)

That is a beautiful Super Course you have there. I have a burgundy Mk II in the same size. I really need to find the non drive side crank for its steel Nervar crank. It has a mismatched crank now.
