Looking for pedal dust caps

I'm working on a couple of bikes that both arrived missing one pedal cap each. As I just cleaned, greased and repacked the bearings on the pedals, I'd like to make sure they stay smooth and protected.

Any ideas where I can track down some caps that might work on old metal "rat trap" style pedals? I bought a MKS cap online to try out, but the thread on these are exterior, not interior like these old caps, and are just slightly too large to connect.

Thank you!

It would help to know which pedals you are talking about. Many manufactures out there, some with non-interchangeable caps.

often, people go into bike shops, buy new pedals, and their old ones are thrown in a pile or bin. you can find pedal parts this way, like axles, lock washers, dust caps and maybe whole pedals ... for the cost of only the caps on ebay.
