Question about Sachs derailleur

So the fathers day gift was arranged yesterday, an old Burley Bossa Nova tandem bike.

It appears to have been upgraded with a Sachs Neos rear derailleur.

The brifters are Sachs as well, they have Carbon BB System on them and look similar to the Soras

I would like to know the opinion on Sachs as equipment, since I am unfamiliar with the brand.

I bought Sachs New Success brifters and derailleurs when they first came out many years ago. The design was licensed from Campagnolo but used Shimano cog spacing. I don't know who actually manufactured them, Sachs or Campy. They were on my primary bike for a long time and have since been transferred to my cyclocross bike. They haven't given me a bit of trouble. I can't comment on your components but the brand has put out some great stuff.

So Sachs bought Huret and eventually became Sram.

I will give it a try, it seems to be in decent shape.
