Brooklyn Cycling Caps
 

Okay I just wanted to note that I was looking for a Brooklyn cycling cap as I ride a Gios around brooklyn every day and thought it might look dope to have a matching cap. However, the style that the team wore in the 70's is not available anywhere that I can see. I am refering to this guy with the red stripe down the middle.

I see them with a light blue stripe, world champion colors, etc etc but none with the og red stripe? What is this BS? I get that the Brooklyn cycling caps are 99% fad hats worn by non cyclists or people who don't have a clue where they come from, but I don't think that is a very good reason not to have a cap that matches my bike. Anyways if you know where I can find one let me know, or sites that have modern made but period correct caps for sale in general.

It is an exact match. cb400bill's is not the same as the one Vlaeminck is wearing in the OP. If you don't want to be particular, $10 at Nashbar will get you close. Personally, I like the cheap one.

I know and I would love to own it, but $75 for a cap is above my pay grade. Anyways I was just asking if anyone has ever seen knock-offs in the og colors, I guess I am particular enough to want it a specific way but not enough to want an actual 70's cap. HA not really, F the blue, I'm getting a yellow one.

I have some cake here that you can have and eat, too. :)
