Looks like a German city bike from the 70's or so.

cristibear 06-25-14 12:51 PM

someone said that is from 1940-1950 but nothing else about it.I don't know for sure if the price that i ask for this one is the right one

Welcome, cristibear! The link is not working for me, but if jmeb's pic shows your bike: nice! It looks to be in pretty good condition. There is a "Fahrrad Burggraf" in Holzhausen, Germany. Maybe a house brand?

That bike is from 1943 and it is a size 50cm

spelling the name correctly will help you search g-google

Hello!I don't find anything about a factory in Germany or a bike shop with this name.

Velocivixen 06-25-14 01:05 PM

@cristibear - you're not spelling it correctly, apparently. Your original post you spell it "Burgraff" but accd. to another poster who found it online it's "Burggraf"

cristibear 06-25-14 01:08 PM

Sorry for that ,just now i seen it.The bike is Burggraf. My mistake.

kc0yef 06-25-14 01:12 PM

Yes you didn't find anything about a factory in Germany or a bike shop with that name

I assumed it was "Burggraf" (viscount) and German, so I googled "fahrrad Burggraf" and this came up:

Fahrrad Burggraf, Holzhausen im Telefonbuch Waging mit Telefonnummer 086819...

Googled some more and this came up. Seems they were made by Rixe. The Rixe story's here:
