Tri Color Derailleur Pulley Gears Friction
I bought on Ebay a 600 TriColor rear derailleur to upgrade to index shifting. I've now realized these Sealed Ceramic Bushing pulley wheels dont spin very well freely, even after cleaning they just don't spin easily and when tightened down even worse.
The very inner bushing does stick out from the sides a tad, which doesn't seem right. I have the rubber washer in groove up, to accept the metal side plates. Even in my hand they don't spin like you think they should.
I used 2 pulleys from a 6207 600 that were on the bike. They're great, a little wider but fit with their screws. Also when I took the top one off this strange contraption fell out! What is it?
Thanks
