Finally a new project bike
After several CL misses, I picked up a project bike today. Trek tourer, but not a lot of information beyond that, so far.
Bike has no model number decals or headbadge. I tried to read the serial # on the bottom bracked (47N6084) I think. I don't see this matching up with the classic trek information. The details I have so far: FD - Suntour Cyclone MII; RD - Suntour VX; Suntour brakes, levers say superbe; Sugino crank arms; Triple chainring (50/45/26); Bar-end shifters.
The fork blades have 022 written on them, and there is what looks like someone's idea of something cool, KAMAKAZI in letters down the seat tube. Seat stays have Trek logo.
I have some pics from my phone, but am getting the "file too large" message. Will work on trying to get pics that will post.
