Masi vs. Massi

I recently purchased a Massi (w/ two SS's) bike dating back to about the early '90's I believe. I'm wondering if this brand has any relationship to the more popular Masi brand.

thanks.

I don't think there is a connection. Masi was/is Italian and Massi is Spanish.

These turn up most often from the UK, at least the examples I have seen. There is at least one Maasi running around too, whole different spoof there.
