Kuwahara weirdness
What the heck is this thing for? I figure if anyone would know, it'd be the vintage crowd.
http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...y/IMG_1283.jpg It's only on the drive side seatstay, and there's no indication that there was ever a matching tab on the non-drive side that had just broken off. It's on an '88 or '89 Kuwahara Mondia Shasta Road. http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...y/IMG_1200.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...y/IMG_1198.jpg |
Mount for a rear wheel powered generator?
|
just looks odd since you stretched it with an extracycle Kit
|
My knee-jerk reaction was "chainguard mount," but that might have made more sense on the mid-stay.
EDIT: Yes, generator mount makes more sense than my theory, and right side is indeed consistent with a country in which folks drive on the left. |
