Show Us The Oldest Bike You Own(ed)

I have been reading the "Is C&V going 'modern'..." thread. It got me thinking.

What is the oldest bike you own or have owned that you have a picture of?

It's not that old comparatively speaking but here is a picture of my 1983 Raleigh Grand Prix, a surprisingly great bike.

This was my brother bike before it was mine. That is my older brother on the bike. I don't think the bike was purchased new. This picture is about 1950.

My oldest is a 56 Schwinn 3spd and rideable orignal but a total basic case got out of a dumbster for free and sold for $100 zero work as a project other than inflating tires . Second was one I regrete selling near original Royal Crown 3speed 58 great riding condition.

My 1st bike was a circa 1950 Rollfast gas pipe bike with Bendix hub brake and 24" wheels. Next was a 1952 or 53 Shelby Flyer "3 speed English racer" 26" wheels and Sturmey Archer hub.

I bought this Bridgestone randonneur style bike when I was stationed in Japan in 1964-65. (Portrait of the artist as a young man)

The oldest bike that I currently have is a 1965 Swiss made Tigra.

Next is an all original 1967 Peugeot PX-10. It was a true "barn bike". This is what it looked like after I cleaned off 30 years of dust with a vacuum cleaner.

Next oldest is a late 60s Bertin C-37.

Last of my bikes from the 60s, my 1969 Gitane Tour de France. Another barn bike find.

After

Yay! I get to show off my '38 Raleigh GA again - a CL purchase. - But the oldest I ever owned was my c. 1900 Iver-Johnson that my mother bought for me at a junk store* when I was very young. (It was a relatively old bike at the time, in case you "kids" are wondering ).

The recent, more PC term is a "thrift" store.
