I picked up this bike a few day ago and can't find anything about it.

I have owned a couple of different versions of those. They were made depending on the year by different manufacturers. You need pictures and Google or Bing will be your friend. With Sears bikes the first 3 numbers in the serial number will tell you who built the item. 503.****** for example is a Murray of Ohio product. Roger

If it has 24" wheels and a Sachs 2-speed hub it was mostly likely made by Schauff in West Germany for Sears between 1970-1974.

Is there anywhere to look up the serials to see who made them? I have one without decals whose possible manufacturer I've been trying to narrow down.

Google "Sears supplier numbers" and you will find a bunch of Sears suppliers. 917 is a garden tractor supplier. Originally David Bradley, Roper, AYP and now Husky. 143 was Tecumseh engines until they went out of business. Google will be your friend in this. Roger
