Help identifying vintage scooter - 1950's?

My grandfather scavenged this from a landfill in the early 1980's. I'm not sure how old it is or what brand it is. Does anybody recognize the KB cloverleaf logo in one of the photos? The spokes have an unusual z-bend that I have never seen before. I believe is is of European origin.

Looks like what I had when I was four years old. Been too long to remember what it was, though.

Ah, memories. Back in the late 50's, early 60's that's what we all rode in the little town in West German where I lived. We rode them over the cobble stone streets, down stairways, anywhere and everywhere young street urchins needed to go. Mine was green and very similar to that one.

Well, I am one step closer. I sent pictures of this to The German Bicycle Museum (Deutsches Fahrradmuseum Bad Brückenau - Museum) and they were able to identify the clover logo. It is the logo for Büchel of Fulda, Germany (https://www.buechel-online.com/en/index.php). So at least they made the brake. But it's possible that they didn't make the whole scooter. The museum curator agreed that it is from the 50's and is most definitely of German origin.

The Z bend spokes is how daddy stiffened up the wheel when he didn't have the right tool, or when the spokes were rigid, with no adjustment.
Cool scooter, and your little sister could ride in the back.

I thought that at first, David, but they're in exactly the same position on each spoke and don't have the variation one would expect to see with something somebody did by hand. Weird. Thanks for the input.
