Muddler, thank you! But I have never found one (not that I searched too much). But I'm sure you get the same results (maybe better) with a stick like in the picture. The longer the better - you have more leverage. Another mojito secret is that you have to really squish the oil out of the lime skin. That's what makes a mojito blurry and good tasting. Beware of clear mojitos! Really! They're bland like aluminum frames. Drink quality.

I have lived in Dayton Ohio for 7 years, 10 blocks away from Dayton Brewing Co. and just visited two weeks ago. Not smart. They have several very tasty beers on tap, and fill growlers. Love that!!

Still, last night, after a very nice Stout from the DBC, i finished with the trusted Pabst.

Used to work in Miamisburg. Dayton is a great beer town, if in the shadow of Cincy and Columbus. All three were blessed with an influx of German immigrants in the early 1800s. If you're in Cincy, check out Moerlein, Mad Tree, or Rhinegeist.

Narraganset Lager

It's an everyday kind of beer but good - sort of a Panasonic high tensile frame beer. It has been on sale recently at Cheers (our local beer and wine emporium). Good enough to offer to friends, and cheap enough to provide for all at a crab feast - crabs are so expensive, you have to economize somewhere.

Good score!

I picked up a few more than that.

We're having company this weekend and they're drinking the good stuff.

Edit: Don't forget to pick up some four pacs of Fulton's Maitrise whilst available.

Nice host!

My usual ritual is one after purchase, one after about a year in the cellar, and the other after two. I'll likely be chasing it down on tap in the coming days/weeks, not to mention finding any place that gets the barrel aged version on tap.

No pictures, but I was in northern Virginia Saturday trail running and after I went to The Dirt Farm Brewery in Bluemont. Cool place with a great view and great beer.

I don't tend to have too many bottled beers. I tend to go for draught ales when I'm out and about in the local pubs.
The ones l look out for are 'Good Old Boy' from the West Berks Brewery. That's actually a nice session ale.
'Lamplight Porter' from Longdog Brewery is another one I look out for.
I went to a party a while ago, and bought some in the local packaging:

The Lamplight Porter is on the right, and the other two are 'Brindle Bitter' and 'Bunny Chaser' (I think that's the one in the middle).

It depends. There's a decent micro at one end of the trail I ride frequently--- I usually get a 70-100 BU IPA in the summers, stouts, porters, etc in colder weather. Sometimes I indulge in a glass of cardboardeaux, 12 year old single malt, or Canadian (several brands) and cola. (I'm from Tennessee, but I don't like JD.) Oh, and not all of these at the same time! I'm a 2 drink limit guy, mostly.

Does it have to be Beer? Glenora Jardine reserve. The best Scotch in the World, that's not aloud to be called Scotch because it's not made in Scotland.
