Can I get mine with Mezcal? I wish I could drink Tequila, but one night in Tijuana when I was 18 ruined it for me. I've started drinking Mezcal instead and I'm quite fond of it. There's a local restaurant which serves a similar drink they call the Palomaesque (Mezcal, Cocchi Americano, Grapefruit, lime, honey, salt, soda): delicious!

I am a bit tired of IPA's and the "let's-see-how-hoppy-we-can-make-it" arms race. But this is tasty. So is their Boom Sauce.

Since the opportunity to ride up Mt. Ventoux is not in my immediate future, the taste of terroir will have to do for now. Yummy!

So many great drinks, so little free time.
I asked this in a different no-bike-content thread but got no answer: What is meant by the term "session beer" that I've seen in print a few times lately? I think it was applied to one-off limited-production brews but the term means nothing to me (yet).

I got a couple of nice bottles of brew over Christmas, but someone drank them.

Hill Farmstead, Treehouse, some Belgians...

Mojitos and Palomas look awesome, will have to try making those.
I tried my best to do the craft beer/IPA thing, but it's going way too far for my taste buds at this point. A good Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or Bell's Two Hearted Ale is about as far as I venture into that pool anymore.
I'm old school, so I still like the imports, particularly the nitro pub cans of Guinness, Boddington's, Old Speckled Hen and the like. Finally found out where to buy these in Indiana! Also love a good Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome Ale in December to ring in the holidays.
As for booze, I love a bit of Bushmills now and then. I have been checking out some scotch and bourbon lately, most notably Bulleit.

I've had this bottle for...let's see... about 24 years. Bought it in Mexico. Still waiting for a chance to open it, though I'm not really into spirits anymore, and never was a big fan of tequila. But this stuff was, as I remember, very good. Not a high end tequila, and only a Reposado. But good straight.

I picked up a bottle of this at CDG when we were flying out after our vacation in France. We had some euros to burn and thought a bottle of scotch and some Jet creme de menthe would give us more enjoyment than whatever dollars were left after we converted at home.
It's so good. I managed to ration it for about 1.5 years, but, after not drinking for January, I will go ahead and enjoy the lasts little bit of it. Cheers!

Discovered this Belgian dark dubbel Trappist beer last year during a day long stopover in Brussels, Belgium New Years. Had lunch in a restaurant at (ironicaly flying Stella Artois flags in front) the Grand Platz area and ask for their recommendation on what to drink with the Flemish stew I was ordering and they served me the Westmalle dubbel. Fantastically Smooth and Delicious! My newest favorite beer since that first taste!

Mmm... Ghandi-Bot.

IPAs have been too thick or syrupy lately, esp. doubles, but this is spot on. One of the best in CT. Very floral.

I'm still a Yuengling follower, but lately my wife likes Corona.
I really don't mind, it's tolerable and after 3, more tolerable.
