For me, it's pretty much just wines these days. I use to be a beer drinker, but my gut was getting too big so I quit. In reds, I like dry Cabernets and Merlots. Favorite whites are dry Chardonnays and Pinot Grigios. Every Sunday afternoon a group of local pilots get together for brunch at Catch on Market St. and I treat myself to a bloody mary or two. I don't drink much liquor, but when I do it's usually scotch and water.

These two are from Seattle Breweries and are pretty balanced IPAs that aren't too overwhelmingly hoppy.
This one should be more widely available and also well balanced.
I usually swill down grilled pork chops with this here stuff from an Oregon vineyard, any year.
On the rare occasion when I drink whiskey at all anymore it's Crown Royal and water.

I drink whatever I have brewed and have on tap in my kegerator. I have 6 taps in one fridge and have enough kegs and fridges to have up to 9 kegs tapped at once. Right now my taps are as follows:
1. Hard Apple Cider
2. Czech Pilsner
3. Red Rye India Lager (like rye IPA but fermented with lager yeast)
4. Munich Dunkel
5. My "House Lager" tastes like Modelo Especial
6. German Pilsner
The tap labels are what the beers are similar to. It helps craft beer noobs to get an idea of what they are about to taste.

I don't drink much of anything anymore. I will enjoy a few dark beers though. Mostly these, since they happen to have it at the one place I go, and it's very tasty. 3-4 of these, and I am satisfied.,,,,BD

Summer time: Its kracken rum and cherry coke/cherry Pepsi (which ever is on sale/cheap), madori sour.
Winter time: Its triple sec with hot orange tea,peppermint schnops with hot peppermint tea or a hot toddy.
I like reds apple ale, johnny apple seed, anger orchard etc tho

IPA's are a fad and I'll be glad when its over. Nothing less refreshing than a mouthfull of alphas and gritty teeth afterwards.
I'm all about hefeweizen; weihenstephaner is by far the best and when you neeed extra oomph to crest a hill, tip back a bottle of their Vitus just before starting your ascent. While crossing the Alps on an old city bike most of my hydration and nutrition came from flat, warm wheat beer in a camelback. Delicious and nutritious. Germans call it 'liquid bread' or 'a glass of sausage.'

Summertime: Margaritas, usually in the Wondrich (3 parts tequila : 2 parts Cointreau : 1 part lime juice) or Regan (3:2:1) ratios.
Anytime: Tinto de Verano (tempranillo and diet 7up).

Spezi is "cola kissed with orange" so not quite half orange juice. Im partial to apfelschorle, which is half sparkling water, half apple juice. Half beer half lemonade is radler, half beer and half cola is diesel. Diesel,when made with wheat beer is calles Russ and is very tasty. Half cola and hald red wine is called 'cold p---y', in reference to a wet cat.

White wines, I buy locally. The Annapolis valley makes some excellent varietals and plonk, especially champagne style wines. Check out Benjamin Bridge and Gaspereau
Beer, Currently craft brewing Pilsener, EPA, Stout, a blonde, and more in out product lab. We shy away from strong hops and work on refining hops malt and temperature QC. We break ground on our 2000 gallon brewery next year.
