You should really buff that frame with some 9,000 grit 3m compound. It will jump out even more. Ride her till she breaks. Those can be re-bonded if necessary.

But the air freight bill to Italy and Back From NorthAmerica is expensive , they bill by Box size rather than weight. and charge for the Higher of the 2.

I wouldn't abrasive ( Any) buff through the anodizing color .. you will regret trying ..

I forgot that it was anodized...they really did have good taste in color back then.

Nice bicycle and nicely cleaned up, also. For what it is worth, I dragged a NOS set of Modolo gum hoods with me, all the way to Jamaica and back. Anyway...

I owned an ALAN and loved the bicycle. Sadly, it was too flexible for a heavy guy like myself...
