Need help identifying my Bianchi Trofeo
Hi forum members. I recently purchased a Bianchi Trofeo and have attached a bunch of pictures. Here are the particulars:
S/N T109A5
sticker “made in Italy"
Suntour Superbe Pro Rear Derailleur "LH"
Suntour Superbe Front Derailleur
Ofmega Super Competizione Crank 170
Bianchi Dropouts
Suntour down tube shifters
Modolo breaks and levers
OMAS "made in Italy" headset 25 x 24
Bianchi Special Tubi Rinforzati Produzione Columbus
I believe the Suntour was produced in the mid 80's, and since it's pre-index shifting, I believe that puts it before 1987. I recently replaced the original cork brake pads which were marked "Modolo Sinterized World Champion 1982." The hoods and tape are also new. I have about $700 into it. I'm pretty happy with the general condition of the groupo and frame. Does anyone know the year produced and have any details on the model?
