Looking for Campagnolo Wheels, but don't need hubs. Advice please.
I have a Guerciotti track bike, shown on my Avatar and am looking to replace my wheels. I would like to find some Campy Omegas or some aero type wheels, but I want to use my current hubs. I don't mind used or NOS, but all I ever see is the entire wheel set with hubs already built. Also, this mike I think is from the 80's and wouldn't mind finding something from around that time, but it doesn't have to be spot on. I ride this bike ALL the time, so it isn't a show bike, just a great bike to ride. Any advice on finding just the wheels no hubs and any other options other than the Omegas deep V's? I want them to be fairly strong wheels and I have the Omegas on my geared bike and they are great. Goodness, I remember buying them new. I am getting old.
Thanks for any help on my quest.

Your looking for RIMS not wheels. Rims + Hubs + Spokes = Wheels.
You just need to keep looking around on ebay and CL. Sometimes you can score NOS stuff at older bike shops.

I know you said you don't need complete wheels but just the rims, but I have a set of late 80s/early 90s Campy Omegas laced to Dura Ace 7402 hubs, the rear one being 8-speed hyperglide compatible. If you're interested. I won't unlaced them, however.

It sounds like the OP is looking for rims
I think southpawboston was offering his Omegas laced to Dura Ace 7402 hubs, advising the OP he would have to buy the wheelset and remove the hubs for the rims.

I've not seen many Campy rims for sale, but I have definitely seen them.
An LBS here told me about 6 months ago "we had a ton of Campy rims upstairs in the attic, and I just gave them away to one of my parts suppliers."

I'm looking for spoke holes to convert a rim from 32 holes to 36. Would prefer period-correct NOS.
I can't find them anywhere. Any suggestions?

Unless you just HAVE to have NOS, just recycle 4 holes from any old rim. They are all much the same. Bit of Scotchbrite and bee's wax and they'll look good as new. Coat them with allum and install, wait 24 hours then lace em up. This is Bike101 stuff Jim!

If you are looking for tubular, I have a mis-matched set of Campagnolo Omega 36 I would send to you for cost of shipping. Probably around $20

The term "rims" helped a lot for search purposes. Thank you. I am just a commuter that likes old classic bikes. Not to mention I enjoy single malt scotch.
