I got Twins

I picked up another Schwinn Circuit today. Not Identical twins but this one has some interesting upgrades. The paint is ruff but not as bad as the one I ride. This one came with original Sante brakes , crankset, head set FD and front hub. Has Dura Ace 8 speed down tube shifters, RD and rear hub. The Original Wolber rims look good and true. I need to clean the frame up, maybe some touch up paint. My other Circuit is built up with Tri Color 8 Speed FD, RD, and brakes with 105 8 speed Brifters. I have so many options open to me. I have a Sante RD and Shifters, and a decent set of 7 speed wheels as well. I guess I need to starts by stripping and cleaning to see what I have then go from there. The Circuit is such a great ride. Is it wrong to keep two?

LOL Yes I have a sickness. I will see what frame looks better. The one I got today has a permit sticker over a decal. That may not come off very well. I thought I was done with my Circuit. The wheels I got from you are great. Then I find another Circuit with Dura Ace and it`s 8 speed. Now I am thinking full Dura Ace with brifters. I guess it will never be finished until it has full Campy 11 speed on it or something? LOL

Keep the two!! You deserve it. Seriously though, it will be interesting to give it a proper clean as it looks to be in very good condition. I have never owned two of the same bike but I have often thought about it when I have been riding a bike that just seems to fit me like a glove - why not have a spare that rides beautifully?

What does one give you that the other doesn't offer?

Well I can have two set up completely different I guess? I have time to decide. I had to buy the bike. It was a great deal. I can sell the wheels for more than I paid for it. I am not even sure I will keep both in the end. Will 8 speed 105 Brifters pull a 8 speed Dura Ace RD ?
