Campy AC-H
 

Hi C&Vers.
I was hoping someone here could give me some info and maybe advice on what to do with a bottom bracket I just picked up (free). Campy AC-H 115.5mm with English threading. It came in the original box, but it pretty dirty, so either time has had an effect and some of the grease got loose or it isn't quite NOS. I attached some pictures.

Now for my questions: what years were these bottom brackets in use?
Are they different from Daytona/Centurion? Trying to look them up on Fleabay and they seem to say either Daytona or Centurion. I don't know diddly squat about campy.
How much do you think this is worth?

And most importantly, should I hold onto it and hope one day I may have a frame to put around it, or should I just sell it. This is regardless of any value.

Edit: Actually, most importantly...maybe some frame recommendations that would fit?

Will fit any frame with an English-threaded bottom bracket, and will probably work ok for '78-'87 Campy Record cranks, which took a 114.5mm spindle, though yours is probably not offset. Should work ok.

My 2006 Bianchi has a Campagnolo Veloce groupset with similar bottom bracket. Mine is an AC-S, presumably for Aluminum Cup - Solid spindle. Your AC-H has a hollow axle for weight savings. There was also an SC-S bottom bracket with steel cups. All three are interchangeable, the primary difference between them being weight.

If I remember correctly, Veloce, Centaur, Mirage, Xenon, and Daytona double cranksets of that vintage (the generation preceding outboard bearings) can use that BB with 111 mm spindle length. The 115 mm symmetrical spindle is for triples of similar level. The upper-end Chorus and Record cranksets at that time used an asymmetric spindle.

As for what it's worth, I just glanced at eBay and the two recent completed auctions for that exact bottom bracket went for $26 and $43.
