Vintage Czech Lightweights
in the course of searching for something else this site turned up. it is an enthusiast site primarily focused on older Czech bicycles. was delighted to learn that in terms of marques there is more to Czech bicycle production than the Favorit/Jawa/Rapido/Pioneer family. some real beauties to enjoy here. also included are some non-Czech machines. begins with the earliest boneshakers. happily, there is no language barrier.
site: Information about bicycle history, not only for collectors and historical bicycle fans - ?T?RBA-BIKE.cz example machine: Antonín Peri?, race machine, Praha, The Czech Republic - probably 1945 - Race and sport bicycles - The Gallery - The Gallery - ?T?RBA-BIKE.cz |
I lost track of the website after finding it a while ago. Thank you for reintroducing it.
The Antonin Peric is one of the nicest bikes I've seen on the web. The shaping of the chainstay tubes and thick dropouts are a few of the things that caught my eye. I believe this is the second thank you I have sent your way in less than 12hrs - Please keep the goodies coming! |
I have had a few from Czech....., and all but one were Favorit...
