Cannondale V700 Rear Shock
HI, I have a 1997 Cannondale V700 and the rear shock (Fox Alps 5R) is dead. I live in Argentina so it's very expensive to send you the old shock for repair. Is there any brand new Fox shock (2014 catalogue) that I could use to replace mine?
Many thanks. Ramiro

I recommend contacting Risse Racing, who still make replacement air shocks for a lot of the older bikes, including Pro-Flex bikes and others that use the clevis-mounting setup as on some of these old Cannondales.
Risse seems to have very good pricing, but I don't know if you could rebuild their shock at home or not.

I agree with the Risse recommendation.
