How are the new Campagnolo Record threaded headsets?

I can either buy a beat up Campagnolo threaded headset from fleabay for anywhere between $50 and up. Or I can get a brand new Campagnolo Record threaded headset for $75. I'm not a fan of the "Record" black lettering, but whatever. Headset will go on a Gios Torino, but unlikely I'm going to outfit the bike with all vintage/original stuff but it would be nice to keep it all-Italian.

Are the new ones pretty decent?

I've been told that the NJS version of the tange levin headset is a pretty good replica of the record headset at half the price and no black logos. Of course, it's up to you whether you want to stay all italian, which it looks like you do.

It's a nice headset. Wiggle has them for $55 [!]. Just saying.

I have one of the Tange Levin headsets for a rebuild of my 76 Franken Falcon. It's a very nice steel headset. Stack height on the Levin is 33.3 mm which is about as small as any, as far as I know.

I put one on the Colnago MXL frameset I built up a couple of years ago. Not crazy about the big black logo, but the function has been perfect. Great headset. Glad I invested in it.
