Huret experts: Jubilee and Campy dropout compatibility?

I know that some Jubilee rear mechs work on Huret dropouts, and some work on Campy dropouts. Is the dropout compatibility designed into the derailleur body itself, or is compatibility conferred by an adapter plate attached to the hanger bolt? i.e., can all Jubilee mechs work on a Campy dropout as long as they have the correct adapter plate? If so, can someone point me to a pic of what that adapter plate looks like?

Best I can offer is the scan at the bottom from Disraeli Gears' website
Sachs-Huret Derailleurs - Speedometers - 1984 page 4
not sure if this is clarifying or not...
