@Wileyone is that the bar original to that slingshot stem? I believe the bar configuration is different for that stem.
You can't tell by the pic but the bars are swept back a bit.

I didn't do much except clean the gunk off the Tomnmasini picked up on it's last ride on wet roads.

I worked at the bike co-op, then worked on my own bikes a bit later. Old Raleigh Technium City Runner got front brake cables and front derailleur cables fitted, but a bit too cold to get much more done there.

Took the old Legnano out for 10.5 miles, getting ready for tomorrow's Pasadena vintage ride. Going to use the half clips and plastic old school type cleats on a group ride. Eroica CA is just around the corner. Picture is from 2016.

Dry weather forecast for tomorrow, so got the Gitane out and ready for the commute.
After the weather over the last few weeks it'll make a nice change from the normal Winter bikes.

Right now the only C & V thing I'm doing is trying to decide which one to take out today.

I would wrap over the white with some black bartape. That makes it look clean enough.

Finished gluing up a tubular. Having been politely reminded (thank you Jim) that it did not happen without pics, I'll offer the following.....
Cleaned up the brake track with acetone while waiting for the last coat of glue on the rim to flash off a bit.

And, I have a Vittoria Corsa EVO attached to a Wolber Aspin!

Installed the cottered crank on the Holdsworth. Looked over my choice of chains and had to toss the old Renold that came off of it. Way stretched. Found a Sedis I think will serve. The freewheel that was on the bike has too large a big cog (28t) for the OE Campy (bronze) Record that I've installed (26t max I've read). The original rear had been swapped for a later der to handle a larger cog, I assume. The freewheel I was going to use I determined was a no-go, French thread. Cables and housings selected, but not installed yet. Found the matching straddle hangers. I think I have some cotton tape around, just not sure where. So getting closer to the finish line on this one, but not there yet.

If you have a bronze Record, do you also have 151BCD cranks? Yeah, you might need that 28t!
If the Holdsworth has long horizontal dropouts with screws, like a Campagnolo 1010, you can cheat a 28t by screwing the adjusters all the way back and running the chain one link short. If you don't want to shorten the chain, you can take the spring off the inside, set the screw all the way back, and put the spring on the outside of the dropout. Might be able to get a 30t to work even.

Ordering parts, and doing repairs and general maintenance. Also trying to decide if this is the year to thin out the herd. Some of the bikes get ridden once a year at best, while I seem to be riding to or three on a regular basis!
