Saving A Bunch On Outbound Parts Shipping - USPS
Many of us reach for the USPS Priority Mail medium flat rate box to ship a multitude of parts. List price is $12.65, with a slight reduction if paid via ebay/paypal.
However, the Regional Box A option is still available via the USPS site, if you pick the size and weight option. The box size is only marginally smaller and can save more than 1/2 when not going transcontinental.
By way of example, shipping from SE Michigan to Wisconsin, rather than paying $11.30 +/- via paypal for a medium flate rate box, via the USPS site, the regional box A is $5.44. also payable via paypal.
BTW it is still 2 day delivery.

Your referring to the 8x8x8 box? I hate that there is nothing between that and the little 'VHS' box.
I'll have to look at that. I was also wondering what ever happened to Parcel Post for larger items or is that only available to large frequent shippers?

The standard delivery or parcel post is cost effective when shipping a frame or whole bike, but NA when it fits in a standard size box.
