Track grips on standard drop bars?
Hey
So I'm thinking about bypassing tape and getting track grips on standard drops. Do any of you guy have this setup?
Im doing it because i like some of my bar exposed and usually ride in the drops. Just looking for some opinions.
Thanks

If you plan on riding on your drops 99% of the time, sure, but that might not be comfortable, practical or safe on the road. Most notably the possible negative effect it might have on your grip on upper portions of the bar, especially in wet conditions (or if your fingers are really sweaty) and additionally the way it might force you to stay on the drops in conditions you need to have your head up.
Track grips look really kehwl, but I don't think they are worth it on the road.
