I have a question on BF sale transactions.
How are the transactions completed. Like, money-wise. How is the money sent to the seller?
Thanks |

This is C&V, so pony express is preferred. If that's not available, then PayPal.
|
Yep PP. Send money as family/friend funded from your balance to avoid fees.
|
If not a Paypal user, then a USPS money order works well.
|
Just wire the funds to my account and I'll handle the transaction for you. ;)

I send a money order, but generally for a few thousand dollars over the purchase amount. I will have my representative come to your establishment to pick up the item, and you may keep some of the extra money from the money order, and please to give the balance to my reprentative.
Of course, we can handle the paymant through my escrow company in Nigeria. It is run by my brother in law who is the son of the finance minister Prince barrister esquire. Otherwise, you can just send your account information, SSN, and mother's maiden name to me and I'll arrange the payment for you. |
@blair - the first time is a bit ..... well I was nervous but the folks are the best you can expect, transaction wise. I can't speak to their character. Many of them are over the top OCD on collecting bikes of all sorts. PP works very well for me and those I have purchased and sold to.

In nine years and many transactions, I've only once had someone not send me something I paid for in advance. And that seller mysteriously disappeared right after!
|
Paypal, checks, and the odd envelope full of cash. For some reason, it's more fun to open an envelope full of cash than an envelope with a check in it.
|
Any method mutually agreed upon... I might personally object to a jar full of pennies, but then again, may accept that payment just to see if the buyer is willing to spend more to ship the pennies than they have paid for the component. :)

For an eBay purchase from a seller in the UK, I agreed to send cash wrapped in aluminum foil stuck in a standard envelope. Remarkably, I even received the item!

Apart from that, my transactions here have been superlative. Even with no formal eBay-style feedback loop. I'm a fan of discrete cash transactions when you're talking less than 3 figures. |

Hey! I think you're the guy who ripped me off a dozen or more times! ;)
Oh no, that would be my bad cousin, he's the father of the brother in law of the son of the formerly exiled finance minister Prince barrister. Esquire. Due to the revolution in his home country he was forced to abandon his honorable job as deputy undersecretary to the mother of the prince father in law of the county clerk in Michigan who is the formerly exiled, but re-exiled foreign relations finance minister prince barrister. Esquire. He was then forced to lead a life of crime and disestablishmentarianism. But he was awakened by a vision of a large Hawk, which he knew was Megan Fox, and he then quit his arrogant ways and made peace with the peasants who were all happy to have ice cream for all. If that were the only trouble, I could spare you the details; But the situation is dire. The Undersecretary of Underpants now is in need of getting the clown prince's fortune out of the country. As you are a person of great integrity, I ask that you maintain a vow of secrecy. A curtain. For my fortune of 5.5$m is in danger of the cloven footed elves. Please to send your banking information and I shall share my treasures with you as an honorable, integritable person of character. |

OP - PP works well. |
I love the Aussie's who send ironed flat US Benjamin's! Is this some tradition?
And while on postage from Australia, my bro' once sent me a postcard of a beautiful naked gal on the beach. Nothing covering the image. It must have been appreciated along the voyage as it arrived in pristine condition! |
Every transaction has been flawless. Pay Pal, and the goods always exceed expectation.
