Wow, that one's clean. And cheap. And my size.

I hate you.

You got a good deal on that one. I'd even be tempted myself if the frame were no bigger than a huge (for me) 63cm. If that's your saddle height setting then all is well.

Shimano sure put a lot of emphasis on quality and finish into that gruppo.

Good luck finding lever hoods for it, maybe the $10 CaneCreek hoods will work?

Wow, that bike is just gorgeous. I love how the yellow cable housings pop against all the super-clean white and grey.

Those Raleigh USA bikes were quite nice, love the graphics and panto spots. My 86 Grand Prix is still in the clean up stages. What year is that Competition ?

1986 made in Taiwan. Nice score for $225. They're pretty stiff, not much room for tire over 25mm.

Would not the 600 gruppo have been S.I.S. by 1985?

I see the Taiwan sticker however, yet still made with butted 531 main tubes. And definitely the race influence has set in.

Nice find! One of those "never been ridden" garage queens. Nope, It was still friction at that point. The tipping point was only a year or two off though. The cane creek hoods will not fit correctly. They will go on of course, but will have a lot of play, and feel odd under the weight of your hand. Try these! Brush up on your Spanish first though. I can't wait for this company to start selling more on the US ebay. They'll make a killing.,,,,BD

Good deal. That's a pretty bike in very nice original nick.

Too bad I didn't know about that swap - I'd have headed over despite the rain!

Btw, nice lawn
