Road/Commuter bike frame for 6"1/~205lbs male?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to build a road bike/commuter bike (to have panniers with heel clearance) using the parts from my Surly LHT touring bike. The frame on that bike cracked during my last couple days of my tour and I have all the components from it.

I want the frame to fit 1 1/8th" fork and 700c wheels with Cantilever breaks. I'd like to spend less than $300 for the frame. Any recommendations?

I'm in Vancouver and not sure where to look for reasonably priced frames. Any suggestions are appreciated.

nashbar frame n fork?
Nashbar Cro-mo Touring Frame

Not much in that budget unless used on ebay/craigs.

Wait til Jan / Feb and snag up a CX bike that was used for the season

could save for something like this one too
Fisticuff (Frame and Fork)

I was going to suggest CrossCheck, then I saw you're coming from LHT and want <$300. How did you manage to break a Surly frame?
