One offset pedal? Or regular leg pedal has a chunk of 2x4 bolted to it, and raise the seat accordingly? Wait, probably need a whole new frame to make sure of ideal fitment...

A can of tuna with my salad for lunch. I generally just eat it out of the can, today yuk, it just tasted dry....

Outta here. Leaving work to do some shopping and then heading home to finish packing up the gear. It's going to be in the mid to upper 60s all weekend so I am planning to sneak in a three-day mini tour starting tomorrow. Ride to a NJ state forest and spend two nights there, with a day ride on Saturday. Sunday I will ride up to A.C. and catch the train home. Can't weight to try out the new, UL tent.

Chainlove seems to have gone away and been replaced by a site selling tents. Sigh.

You realize they were the sa...... never mind.

Chainlove periodically rocked. It largely sucked, especially if you just bought something and wanted to save freight but on the whole, I liked having it. RIP

I only ever bought one thing from them and it was a jersey that turned out to be ridiculously small (even in XXL), but at least it didn't cost me much money and I guess it's aspirational!

I've purchased a bunch of stuff from them in the past, including some of my favorite bibs. Can't complain.

I ALSO have a XXL jersey that "fits" (if you can call it that) like it's about 4 sizes too small. I can zip it up but I'm worried that the zipper will bust off, go flying across the room and take somebody's eye out. Castelli. LOL.

Mine's a Garneau. Oddly my club shirt is also a Garneau, apparently the same design/cut judging by the labelling, but it actually fits me.

What's with the european sizing bits anyway.
I have some 'race cut' large jerseys that fit, an XL that's a blimp, and a "size 7" made in Italy that's a 'long 'dress' if you will and then.... some stinking shoes that are a size 44.
Wish they would make up their dag gum minds.
Don't get me on the topic of which side they put the pull tab on (wrong side if you are wondering)

I've been riding a 12-28 since I got my bike in 2012, but I got a deal on an Ultegra 12-30 a while back. It's been sitting in a cabinet at home collecting dust, so I decided it's time to go on the bike. That and a new chain. I know it's a small difference, but really, that's all I'm looking for. The group I ride with from time to time all seem to have 30, 32, or 34's. I feel like I'm grinding away on the hills while they just spin past me. Now, most of them are skinny or ride a LOT more than I do (easy to do!), but as long as I own the 30, it's on the bike. The club has a climbing event on Sunday that I may go join them for. We'll see. They're shooting for 14,000 feet total. That ain't gonna happen for me, but I'll get a few thousand in. It would be a good chance to break in the new cassette....and break my legs.

REAL carbo-loading. Dunkin Donuts recently opened a new store only 12 miles from me (24 miles RT!). Guess I'll have to ride over there this weekend to check it out.
