Got it very cheap when the previous owner had buyers remorse and upgraded to an S-works model. My shop did a thorough inspection on it and everything checked out so I bought it. Raced her to a third place finish two weekends ago. My 2016 race season is off to a good start.

Mileage for the month is 107.

Signing up for 200 miles this month. A huge stretch after not being on the bike at all since last August, been busy working at least 80 hours a week and being a single parent that I've had to neglect my bike (and sadly, my diet). Got on the stationary bike a few times, but honestly that thing sucks the life out of me. Picking up my new road bike (Fuji Sportif 2.5) today, probably won't be going for it's inauguration ride until tomorrow however.

Brutal mountain bike race today. Monsoon rains drenched us, got a flat, had fasttrack tires on which got no traction on muddy climbs. First lap glasses became useless so took them off which then means couldn't see rocks and roots in the track. Of course I hit a stick which jammed up the rear wheel. And to top it off a couple chain drops.

Took 2nd place and added 20 miles to this months mileage. Picture from today's race

Yeah so the Fuji fell through, found a good deal on a Trek One on Saturday instead. Besides the hour test ride I took on it, I took it for it's inaugurated ride Sunday afternoon, a little over 20 miles. First thing I plan to replace is the saddle, then pedals. I can't believe how responsive (and fast!) it rides compared to my hybrid, gonna be a great season!

March 13: 20 miles ("Inauguration ride.")

MTD: 20 miles (Goal: 200 miles)
