Any Tall Folks on Gunnar Sports? 62-68cm?
Looking into saving up for a Gunnar Sport. I'm 6'6" - 6'7" and the 66cm looks like a nice ride. That headtube length! Anyone got any pics? Anyone got one for sale?

Holy mackrel that is a gorgeous bike! Thanks for sharing. You've got a roadie and a sport? Hmm interesting. I'm thinking of building a sport up as a fast commuter / credit card tourer.

TK_LP, apparently having a larger body overall, also makes for an unmanagebly large left thumb?

I'll have to get some pictures of thr Roadie, I went with custom decals and candy paint, really a fun build. It's nice finally having bikes that actually fit. My LBS was great to work with.
I'll work on the photography.

My Sport is only a 56cm, but it has by far been my favorite bike for the past ~7 years or so. The long head tube is great, and even though on paper it's a little big for my height (5'9"), the geometry really works well for me on long rides. The steel fork has that lively springy feel that's very noticeable when I switch between it and my cross bike with a heavy uni-crown disc fork. I can't say enough good things about this frame.
If you're into the comfort road geometry, another frame that looks kind of interesting, at about half the price, is the Soma ES. I don't think it has quite as long of a head tube though, and doesn't have the premium steel tubing of the Gunnar.

I could for sure stick with my ES and be happy - IRD now has a 400mm steerer on it's 57 Carbon Mosaic fork. The ES was my first custom build and I like the idea of maybe starting over knowing what I know now.
I'm a couple hours away from the Waterford works, might have to drive up there one of these days.
