A TRUE clydesdale knows that riding across America to win back your love while asking others to pay for it isn't the right thing to do.

What, am I gonna get banned now?

I was going MAYBE 15mph (but I DID hold my line)I still say it was his fault for suggesting we have ice cream after lunch in August

After losing almost all the weight you'r still emotionally a fat guy / or gal. I've gone from my heaviest around 265 lbs down to 185 lbs now, once a Clyde always a Clyde. I've only been below 200 lbs since April or may of this year after being above 200 for nearly 20 yrs

When you ride you hear the sound of latex balloons rubbing together coming from your tires.
Your black anodized seatpost attains a mirror polish (happened to me).
You must dismount to reach a water bottle.
Your rigid bike has 3" of suspension sag when you get on.

I no longer have to dismount to get my water bottle or put it back. I was excited when that happened.

C'dale *did* make racing motorcycles, although it put them on the verge of going out of business.

Exactly this yesterday on a 72 km ride. I was passed going up every hill. When we all coasted downhill, I passed them all. And, at the end of four (plus) hours, the legs were still going strong.

When you ride along Mission Bay wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt, and a kid shouts "Hey, Dad! Shamu learned a new trick!"

When you notice that, not only are two people drafting behind you, they're doing it side-by-side.

When people see you taking your bike from the rack, and think it's being stolen.

i'm in & out of clydesville so my experience is:

You find that the point of some rides is just to hit your favorite burrito truck. No matter how far it roams based on day of the week!

Funny thread.

I've been a little apprehensive going into the holiday eating season... since I had already gained my holiday weight by mid-August. Then the other day I got a warning from the Postal Service.... stating, if I get any bigger I will be assigned my own zip code.

When you're riding alone because your group has ridden ahead and you see the shadows of buzzards circling on the street.

This literally happened to me yesterday while I was riding between two orange groves. I looked up and yelled, "I'm not dead yet!"
