Cool! Post some pics when it gets in. Did you get a helmet/gloves as well?

Just some basic ones: a rigid seatpost, alloy pedals, a saddle more comfortable for me, then a kickstand, water bottle holder, etc. 3 year service warranty too.

New bike congrats!

No one should ever have a suspension seatpost, even at 120lbs. I don't know why they still put those things on bikes. Warranty is nice for peace of mind. Hopefully you'll get enough use out of it that they're tired of seeing you for warranty work!

I plan to Actually, the guy I worked with was the manager and he was definitely pushing me to use it, come in every couple weeks for the first season, make sure everything's running right, true the wheels after I've been riding and stuff.

Pretty nice all around.

And yea, suspension seat post does seam really weird. I get suspension on the frame (i guess?) but the seat post seems like a weird spot for it.

hey everyone, thanks again for all of your help!

I ended up having an emergency surgery in the meanwhile, but I got the all-clear from my doctor to start riding and picked up my bike today. I've only gone around the block a couple times, but here's my bike

I've been saying this for 22 years, but that is the perfect starter bike. It's good enough and fun enough to ride forever and to allow a person to fall in love with cycling but it's also a gateway drug to higher level, more specialized bikes, as riders figure out what type of riding they prefer.
