180 is my goal too -- as measured in degrees away from how I do it currently.

I'm getting a little tired of the hating attitudes around here Jim!

My kid's taking Latin in high school this fall. Maybe he can help me next time.

bee sting at 30mph to the knuckle on my pointer finger, looked likt this when I got back to the truck. Bennyadrl and ice pack, now whole hand is swollen. We'll see if this billy club will go down before tomorrow's ride.

good note: first ride with the touring bags in straight head wind didn't suck as much.

@TrojanHorse, no hating, just a friendly suggestion!

Yeah, I took Latin in high school, 3 years worth, Sister Agnes was the teacher. Don't remember much beyond "Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres". Oh, and I remember Denise, tall, dark complexion, long straight hair down to her waist. Totally rocked the catholic school uniform look. No wonder I don't remember much Latin, but she was Latina, so there's that.

This forum really has become more of a community than just a cycling forum, so this thread is a place where we can just BS about whatever the wind blows in, without having to start a dedicated thread about each stooopid topic that comes up.

So let's all go smoke three packs of Camel straights and then ride 50 miles..... fires 150 miles west of us have our area totally filled with smoke. We have sent firefighters over as part of a state Mass-conflag to put out the fires that started by Bonneville Dam by a couple teenagers playing with fireworks on Saturday.

Oh and I am scheduled for a 20 mile ride with my oldest son on Saturday.....

Hey, look who's allergic to bees! I am thankfully not, as those damn things usually get me at least a few times a year (most often in the head) and I would be either a human balloon, or dead. They've clearly spread the news about my (relatively) new helmet (the bee-proof Smith Overtake) amongst their peers, as one tried to fly in the window of my car today.

The "GOAL" is 180 and yes, the healthy way.

Your way is faster but only you can pull that off and be ready to ride PP70 come this November!!

swelling has increased to entire hand plus half way up forearm....I never had a reaction like this before. If it increases after tonights second dose of benadryl I'll be at urgent care tomorrow. My wife works in my Doc's office so scheduling will be less painful

good side of taking benadryl at work, I had a valid reason to go into my boss's office and say hey if you see me napping at my desk, don't fire me. Show hand and said I took meds that has sleep enhancing particals within it I fell asleep 3-5min later and work up hour later Better then while driving

45 degrees here at the moment ... I'll be riding at lunch time

Speaking of cold ... I saw this come across my facebook feed last night ... seemed like a great deal so I ordered it. Reviews said it was a generous fit, so we'll see if it fits when it gets here.

Of course, when it gets here, it's supposed to be back near 80 degrees

JSig, allergies can develop, and worsen (ask me about shrimp..). I'd go see a Doc asap. You probably need at least a cortisone shot...

Another chilly ride this morning ... even broke out the shoe covers. Went and climbed some hills so I'd warm up

And a minor humble brag ... I'm down another 2 pounds. That makes 21 total
