Since my January average over 37 seasons is 251 miles, Ill set a goal of 255 miles.

Making road mile goals for January is tough. I've had 7 years of those 37 that were under 100 road miles. All it takes is a few snowstorms with snow packed roads.

Anyway, here goes:

1/1/19 - 20.6 miles

I keep forgetting to factor the weather in my monthly goals. I'm going to try for 300.

MTD: 36.7 miles
GOAL: 300 miles

I have no goals other than to ride my bike.

Jan 1st - 35 miles in WIND !! Advisory stated 40-50 MPH winds with gusts up to 65.

That explains the low average of 13.5

Your low average is an extreme high average for me. Good riding on your part.

Thanks, riding into the wind is fun but hopefully I get my mileage back up this year. Congrats on your 7,000+ year in 2018, that's more than awesome riding!
