wasn't as fast as last yr, wind was brutal in some err most sections. But at least it didn't rain on us. I started the official course late, so I had no giant groups to draft off.
I need to ride more and ***** less. Iduno how I'm gonna pull a 200 mile ride in 5weeks. But whatever, this pain is only temporary

Yes..all this rain and 30mph winds doesn't help the riding plans. Hope it stays clear enough for a few hours tomorrow morning.

ahhh BWR is now paid for . let the suffering begin!! I still think BWR will be harder than the solvang double next month. I'll find out in 4 weeks if that will be true assessment

How much climbing is BWR? As I recall, quite a bit and quite a bit on not-pavement... it probably is harder. Solvang is about 8k, but I don't think there's any "serious" climbing, just a lot of tilting up and down. The last bit near Foxen canyon should wake everybody up.

my estimated moving time is 10-11hours for BWR

I’ve been off bike and admit being lazy while recovering from surgery. Cleared to ride and haven’t yet. I’m out of shape and it’s my fault.
That said... I am buying another Bianchi Vigorelli but with 11 spd. I plan to commute on it and use on trainer.
Sent $ to Lisa with The Unlikely Cyclist and she’s ordering today.

my husband bid on a classic impala this weekend when he already has a Chevelle SS in garage. There is really no room for another 60’s era muscle type car. He didn’t win it but I figured we had room for another bike and I regretted selling the Vigorelli. I put my hybrid up for sale on LetGo

OK, so correct me if I'm wrong but you really didn't like the vigorelli when you had it, did you? Something about the fit.
Having said that, it looks really bianchi-like,
. I've got my old '92 campione on the kickr with 11 speed 105 (and no, I never had the damn rear triangle cold set... it's 2 mm for pete's sake)

you are not wrong about me saying the vigorelli was off fit wise. It wasnt all that bad but I needed to make myself feel better for selling it over the Madone. The Madone was my nearly original bike when I first started riding and I couldn’t let it go. Hubby told me I had to get rid of one bike when I got the Domane. So I chose this one tho I didn’t really want to.
Fit issue may have been related to setting it up similar to Madone w/o taking into account different bike geometry and my bad hip being compensated for?
Lisa will fit me on it and will see where we end up.
My commute is 6 flat miles (only “hill” is freeway overpass and an overpass over coyote creek)

Pretty "rare" bike, USA steel. 1 step down from the Paramont so often overlooked. I saw another guy riding a 58 on Pres day as I was riding back from the coffee shop. Was the only other Circuit I've seen in the flesh. He didn't have the OEM saddle or wheels. Everything else seemed legit, more banged up then mine. I had this copy since 2010, size 56 which in racer geo, fits comfy for me.
