Because that's not the best way to convince people to give him money and to attract attention, which are the only two things he is trying to do. He may try that now that Plan A failed to get him enough of both those things.

BTW...It was discovered that one of his "give me money" sites was linked to his mother. That's likely because he's claiming some sort of disability causing inability to work. Earning money could jeopardize those benefits.

Well duh! It's actually surprising how many people blindly praised him for foolishly putting himself in harms way. Oh well, another half-assed attempt, another failure.

MAN that solar panel would be SWEET for my Land Cruiser when I go camping. Voltage conversion hardware to carry on the bike too? Bike trailer would look like a semi truck if he kept going.

I'm all for going on an adventure but you kinda have to train a weeeeee lil bit or reality of this world will smack you in the face, scammer or honest folk alike. Gravity sucks. A freeway bridge is not a mountain, come to socal buddy

He's still staying in a hotel after allegedly spending last weekend in some hospital or something. Allegedly flying home tomorrow.

His latest musing on weight loss is that some doctor tested him and determined that he could eat 4,500 calories/day and still lose weight with only minimal exercise.

The amount of B.S. this guy comes up with is amazing.

As a guy that dropped 113 pounds this past year, if I can do it, anyone can. He is a perfect candidate for that guy on TV... Dr. Now... Then again. Dr. Phil was unable to help this joker.

This begs the question, should internet panhandling be outlawed? I don't give money to anyone I don't know personally. I can't believe that people openly give him money.

We was just begging again for $15 so he could get a ride to the airport to catch his flight home. He got it. At least he claims he did.

Another fun fact those of us who followed his original trip learned: His wife/girlfriend (or whatever she is) was accused by some of scamming people out of money by claiming she had cancer when she did not.

Nah. Government over reach. But as PT Barnum allegedly said... “There's a sucker born every minute.”
